postponement of this particular idea/project.

After spending time off from this project writing my dissertation, when I finally came back to it the buzz had gone. It felt like I'd done the fun/creative part in hunting down objects I felt could be turned into buildings, using my imagination. The rest of the project felt as though it was a bog-standard, straight-forward job of cutting out an object, adding windows and doors and putting them into an environment.

I also think the buzz going is also down to the credit crunch... not just because everyone is blaming it for everything now, but because I'm someone who is motivated by real-life developments in the hope maybe the things I'm doing could maybe change something. It's hard to explain though... even when I'm playing (for example) a football game on the Playstation, I have this habit of not using a player if he is injured in real life and if a player is playing badly in real life, I have this mentality that he's not as good as I've played with him before, so make mistakes with that player in the game too, strange I know. The same goes for buildings... I contribute to a cities regeneration forum and at the moment all the talk of developments being put on hold has put a stop to my own motivation to create something for some of these developments, sad but true.

I think for now I'm going to postpone this project and come back to it at a later date and do it in my own time, rather than uni's.
